The Cross
"And to love Him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as himself, is much more than all the burnt offerings and sacrifices." Mark 12:33
The cross is an instrument of death, yet all who die there rise up in new life. This is the "good news" that we die to ourselves and than walk in joy of the new life which God gives us. The cross is a recognized symbol of people of faith. Not because it possesses any magical qualities or is a good luck charm, but only because it serves as a reminder of the greatest story ever told. The story of Jesus Christ, His death, burial, and resurrection.
May the one who wears this cross receive the message of God's love and in turn be used as an instrument to spread that "good news" to others.
