Tips & Tricks to freshen up your home this Spring

We all crave the fresh feel Spring brings, here are some simple tips & tricks to achieve this in our homes both indoor and outdoor.

This is the first blog ever, so I want to start by saying Hello loves!! Second of all, I want you all to know English was never your girls best subject so some of this won't be grammatically correct, but that's okay cause it's just a fun blog, right? I really do tend to type like I talk, oops. Okay I'm done rambling, let's get started.

  Spring is hands down the best season. Don't even kid yourself, you know it is. It's that perfect balance between warm with a hint of Summer breeze in the air. It brings new life, picnics and most peoples favorite, it's officially baseball season. Now that we've covered the fun Spring brings outdoors, let's talk about the fun Spring can bring inside our homes as well.

If you're anything like me you scroll through Pinterest in awe of the rooms and backyards you see, then you click on the link it provides and glance at that price tag and that's it, you're over it. I am here today to tell you that there is a less expensive way to achieve these looks. Take a glance at these 5 essential steps I came up with.

1st-Clean your home and clean it well. Check your attic too, so many things you thought would never be in style again are back. Sorry if this hurts some, but hey on the bright side you save some money. Vintage paintings and wall hangings are everything. Old record player? Throw it on a table. The other neat thing is that you can mix and match so much these days, there are no rules. Once you finish this step you know what you do have, it's time to figure out what you don't have and what you really need.

2nd-WHITE WHITE WHITE! This color is a must in this process because it instantly gives the space that clean feeling, you know the one I'm talking about. White curtains will also make the room so much brighter, strongly magnifying the natural light in your room. Also, the white marble look is so fun and you can find it just about anywhere right now. Oh and can we talk about rose gold? Yes please.

3rd-It's the little things. New sheets, new candles and new plants really anything that signifies life and growth. Good news is we offer all the things I'm mentioning in our store & online (had to slip that in there). Succulents are all the rage right now, plus they're super easy to maintain! Grab some whether you're known for having a green thumb or not, you won't regret it.

4th-Sprinkle in pops of color here and there. This is where it gets super fun. No shame in saying I have a slight obsession with pillows. I think this is such a simple way to add color and give the room that final touch to make it feel so warm and homey. Also, fun lamps help big time. You can do all different shapes and sizes to bring any room together.

5th- Last but not least, the backyard. Three words: hammocks, plants and lighting. Those things are really what it boils down to. This is the area I say splurge in this year. It's critical to get outside and spend some quality time with your family and sweet hubby and get some vitamin C. Life is too short not to make the most of every minute.

I'm sure there are dozens of other ideas, this was just a few. Get creative people!! Also, send me pictures of the things you come up with. I can't wait to see.
