Grief is part of all our lives. The loss of a family member or close friend, the sudden illness of someone dear, divorce, financial ruin, disappointment, and even anger can cause our lives to be overshadowed by pain.
In the book of Job, we learn of a man who experienced more grief than most could imagine. Yet through his fear and doubt, he refused to give up, remaining steadfast and believing that God would deliver him. Despite his circumstances, Job's great faith turned his temporary grief into eternal joy.
Anita designed this piece to be a representation of God's love. As the sun breaks through the clouds after a storm, so God's love breaks through our grief to restore peace.
